Peggy J. Lynn

JACKSON, MI – Peggy J. Lynn, 80, of Jackson, MI and formerly of Oakwood died 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Faith Haven Senior Care Center, Jackson, MI.  She was born April 16, 1938 in Bowling Green, KY to the late Harry and Robbie Jewel (Caskey) Proctor.  She married James Wood.   She then married Herman D. Lynn, who preceded her in death on March 23, 1998.

She is survived by 3 step-children:  DeWayne Lynn, Diane Kodak, and David Lynn; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister:  Nancy Allen.

She is preceded in death by a daughter, DaVone (Wood) Giampaolo;  3 sisters: Margaret Henry, Betty Fox and Mary June Potts; and 2 brothers:  Thomas Proctor and Harry Proctor.

The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2018 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood with Pastor Rick Snyder officiating.  Burial will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery, Oakwood.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday, at the funeral home.
