Perry J. "Mick" Good
Fort Jennings -- Perry J. "Mick" Good, 82, died 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 20, 2015 at the Meadows of Kalida. He was born May 24, 1933 in Lima to the late Perry A. and Xenia (Little) Good. On January 26, 1964 he married Dixie L. John, who preceded him in death on January 26, 2010.
He is survived by his 7 children: Debbie (Karl) Hiler of Defiance, Perry (Janet) Good of Florida, Debbie Deason, Vickie Rayle, Tina (Dave Gasser) Good, Rick (Wendy) Good and Cindy (Duane) Hoersten, all of Fort Jennings; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren with one on the way; 2 sisters: Donna Metzger and Ruth Barnes, both of Spencerville.
Mick is preceded in death by 5 sisters: Eileen McKinley, Maxine Good, Pauline Roberts, Betty Shank and Colleen McKanna; and a great-granddaughter.
He was a retired truck driver for Central Soya, Delphos. He was a member of the Kalida Fish and Game Club. He loved fishing and his morning coffee hour at Big Daddy's with the Men's Club. Mick enjoyed racing and going to Limaland.
The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 24, 2015 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township with Father Mark Hoying officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Fort Jennings. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. and again on Thursday for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
