Peter Thomas Deller

LEIPSIC – Peter Thomas Deller, 62, of Leipsic, went to be with the Lord at 2:46 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.  He was born on October 4, 1959 in Eastleigh, Southampton, England to the late Albert and Sarah (Currie) Deller.  On September 28, 2002, he married the love of his life, Pamela Ditmore, who survives in Leipsic.

Peter is also survived by two daughters: Samantha (Jeramiah) Krueger of Parma and Mary (Dillon Titus) Sajovic of Findlay; five grandchildren: Olivia, Adelyn, McKenna, Raiden and Trysten; three siblings: Phyllis Moorehouse, Pamela Bennet and Philip (Pamela) Deller, all of England.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Daniel Alan Nowak; and two brothers-in-law: Eddie Moorehouse and Mick Bennet.

Peter was a member of Leipsic United Methodist Church. He retired as an OTR truck driver from Pohl Transportation.  Peter loved living in this great country, vacationing with his wife and family, playing rummy with his wife, watching old English programs, doing word and number puzzles and spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. He always kept in touch with his family and friends across the pond.  Most of all, Peter loved making people laugh and smile!

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with a eulogy at 5:45 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in order to defray Peter's medical costs.
