Phyllis L. Tegenkamp
DUPONT - Phyllis L. Tegenkamp, 79 of Dupont died at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
She was born July 29, 1936 in Dupont to the late Harry "Raymond" and Ruby Hazel (Matson) McClish.  On January 13, 1951, she married Thomas A. Tegenkamp, Sr. who died April 21, 2010.
Survivors include 4 sons: Thomas A. Tegenkamp, Jr. of Plantation, FL, Jeffrey (Lynn) Tegenkamp of Continental, Gerald (Pat) Tegenkamp of Continental, and Shane (Lisa) Tegenkamp of Trenton; a daughter-in-law: Jeanie Tegenkamp of Continental; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son: Frank Tegenkamp; a great-grandson: Dustin Rau; a daughter-in-law: Audrey Tegenkamp; 2 brothers: Cloris and Carroll "Gene" McClish; and 3 sisters: Zada Dorsett, Alma Mosier, and Evelyn Rummel.
Phyllis was a homemaker.  She was a member of Dupont Community Club and ONO Club in Dupont.  She was a Girl Scout leader.
A Memorial Service will begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental with Rev. Terry Porter officiating.  Burial will be at a later date.  Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center or a charity of the donor's choice.
