Quinton Caspar Schmenk

OTTAWA - Quinton Caspar Schmenk, 34, of Ottawa died Thursday, September 8, 2016.  He was born June 2, 1982 in Phoenix, Arizona to Ronald H. and Avel (Smith) Schmenk. His father is deceased and mother lives in Ottawa.  He had been married to Nichole Chavis of Lima.

Quinton is also survived by his three children: Nicolas Sanchez-Schmenk of Flagstaff, AZ., Makenzie Schmenk and Henry Schmenk both of Lima; a sister: Courtney (Martin) Carrillo of Leipsic; and four nephews and a niece: Jon Schmenk, Libby Schmenk, Jacob Schmenk, Martin Carrillo II and Mario Carrillo all of Leipsic.

Quinton worked for County Electric in Ottawa.  He enjoyed being around people and loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Quinton was very hands on and loved to tinker with things.

A Memorial Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf, with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday only at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
