Rebecca Trombley, RN

GLANDORF -- Rebecca "Becki" Trombley, RN, 44 of Glandorf died 10:27 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  She was born July 14, 1973 in Lima to James "Rick" and Kathy (Workman) Bishop, her father is deceased and her mother survives in Ottawa.  On October 31, 1998 she married David Trombley, who survives in Glandorf.

She is survived by her daughter: Jillian Trombley, at home; a sister:  Robyn (Kurtis) Fauth of Columbus: 2 brothers: Jeremy (Terri) Bishop of Ottawa and Chris Bishop of Ottawa; step grandfather: Carl Selhorst of Leipsic; father-in-law and mother-in-law:  Doug and Esther Trombley of Glandorf; 3 brothers-in-law:  Doug (Jamie) Trombley of Glandorf, Dan (Isabel) Trombley of MI, and Dean (Beth) Trombley of Glandorf; a sister-in-law:  Deanna (Darrin) Ward of Lima; and 12 nieces and nephews:  Sophia and Lauryn Fauth, Jasmin and Elias Bishop,  Carson, Lauren, Mason, Riley, Breyson, Kayden, and Madalyn Trombley and Jenna Ward.  She is preceded in death by her grandmother,  Esther Selhorst and grandfather, Raymond "Shorty" Workman.

Becki was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf.  She was a graduate of Continental High School, received her teaching degree from Defiance College and her nursing degree from Rhodes State.  She had worked at General Motors, Defiance and most recently for Putnam County Homecare and Hospice.  She loved dogs and caring for her many patients.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Rick Friebel officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery at a later date.  Visitation will be Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8  p.m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa, where a scripture service will be held at 1:45 p.m. and a parish rosary at 7:30 p.m.
