Regina M. Reno

MELROSE - Regina Marlene Reno, 68, of Melrose, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, December 2, 2023 at CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center.  Gina was born on July 22, 1955, to the late Ray and Dorothy (Wagoner) Reno in Lima, Ohio.

She is survived by her two daughters: Angel Reno, of Melrose, and Ashley (Brock) Foor, of Oakwood; two siblings: Danny (Vicki) Reno of New Haven, IN and Steve (Marilyn) Reno of Van Wert; a sister-in-law, Linda Reno of Convoy; five grandchildren: Kennedy, Kobe, Kyler, Kaliope, Kash; and grand-dog, Tucker.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Chelle Reno and a brother, Ronnie Reno.

To know Gina was to love her. She was the rock of her family instilling lifelong traditions. She ingrained, in her two daughters, the importance of family at a very young age. Gina was an adored aunt, loved deeply by all her nieces and nephews. Family game nights were a regular occurrence, including epic D & D weekend battles.  She was extremely selfless and willing to help anyone, in their time of need. Many nights were spent gathered around the campfire, with all her family and friends.  She loved to go to bingo. Gina was a hard worker, retiring from The Schnipke Engraving Co. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her, especially her five grandchildren.  They were the light of her life, and she loved them to "infinity and beyond".

Funeral services will begin 12:00 p.m., Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Branch Christian Fellowship Church, Paulding with Pastor Greg Cramer officiating.  Burial will follow in Sherman Cemetery, Oakwood.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood.
