Richard L. Densmore
MELROSE - Richard L. Densmore, 57, of Melrose died Monday, May 4, 2015 at his residence. He was born February 15, 1958 in Paulding to David L. and Catherine (Sponsler) Densmore who survive in Melrose.
Also surviving are 4 children: Ryan (Loretta) Densmore and Nathan (Ginger) Densmore both of Cloverdale, Alicia (Gary) Plotts of Defiance, and Rachel (Brian Egnor) Densmore of Paulding; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a brother: Jeff (Lori) Densmore of Kissimmee, FL; and a sister: Cathy (Richard) Warner of Paulding.
Richard retired from General Motors, Defiance, in April of 2009 after 30 ½ years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Richard was a 1976 graduate of Paulding High School and he received his Bachelor of Business Management in 1996 from Indiana Wesleyan University. He was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood with Rev. Eileen Kochensparger officiating. Military rites by the Oakwood American Legion will follow the service at the funeral home. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Little Auglaize Cemetery in Melrose. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
