Richard B. "Dick" Sager

OTTAWA – Richard B. "Dick" Sager, 87, of Ottawa, passed away at 6:45 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the Meadows of Ottawa.  He was born May 7, 1937, in Lima to the late Edwin and Lucille (Rieman) Sager.  On February 16, 1963, he married Sarah Kleman, who survives in Ottawa.

Dick is also survived by three brothers:  John (Katie) Sager of Hopkinsville, KY., Dan (Marilyn) Sager of Anderson, IN., and Joe Sager of Kalida; a sister-in-law:  Rose Sager of Columbus, IN.; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Sager.

Dick owned and operated Sager Appliances, formerly of Ottawa. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa.  For the last 22 years he enjoyed the winters in Frostproof, Florida.

A memorial mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, with Fr. Scott Kramer officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
