Richard Miler

OAKWOOD – Richard Miler, 64, of Oakwood, passed away at 6:22 p.m. on Friday, December 23, 2022, at Mercy Health Defiance Hospital.  He was born July 16, 1958, in Defiance to the late Harmon and Janet (Zedaker) Miler.

Richard is survived by significant other: Brandy (Townley) Miler of Oakwood; three children: Richard (Ashley) Miler, Jr., Jessie (Brandon) Schlueter, both of Paulding, and Harmony Miler of Oakwood; six grandchildren; three sisters; and two brothers.

He is preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Miler; a son, Joshua Miler; and two brothers.

Richard formerly worked at KMI, Kalida.

There will be no services at this time, a celebration of his life will be held in July.  Arrangements are under the direction of HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood.
