Richard C. Nartker

OTTAWA – Richard C. Nartker, 59, of Ottawa, passed away at 9:36 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born July 30, 1966, in Lima to the late William and Marilyn (Seimet) Nartker.

He is survived by two siblings: Katy (Kevin) Maag of Leipsic and Steve (Devonne) Nartker of Kalida; a special friend, Betty Warmbrod of Kenton; and many cousins.

Richard was a truck driver. He was also a former driver for Black and White Cab Co., Lima and Big Daddy's Towing, Inc, Lima. He was a current member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Kalida, and former member of the Kalida Lions Club and Leipsic Fishing and Hunting Club. Richard loved his family and will be dearly missed.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center Hospice, especially Dr. Bowersock and NP Morgan for their compassion and care for Richard.

Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 19, 2025, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Kalida with Fr. Phil Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa and one hour prior to Mass on Friday at the church.
