Richard J. "Rick" Ruhe

LEIPSIC – Richard J. "Rick" Ruhe, 72 of Leipsic, died 1:55 a.m., Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Bridge Hospice, Findlay.  He was born August 21, 1951, in Lima to the late Paul Bernard and Rosemary (Kerner) Ruhe.  He had been married to Carolyn Elaine Kagy and she died February 17, 2017.

Survivors include five siblings: Dave (Jan) Ruhe of South Charleston, Allan (Elaine Kleman) Ruhe of Ottawa, Jane (Nick) Horstman of Ottoville, Nancy (Denny Kuhlman) Shalter of Ottawa and Jeff (Bernice) Ruhe of Ottawa; a brother-in-law, Clint (Patti) Clouse of Tiffin; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded by a sister, Chris Clouse.

Rick retired after 40 years from Whirlpool in Findlay.  He loved horses and was a member of the US Trotting Association.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice, Findlay.
