Richard Ambrose "Ricky" Wannemacher

CLOVERDALE – Richard Ambrose "Ricky" Wannemacher, 65, of Cloverdale, passed away at 3:31 a.m. on Monday, June 10, 2024, at Mercy Health Perrysburg Hospital.  He was born October 20, 1958, in Lima to the late Ambrose "Sam" and Dorothy (Heimann) Wannemacher.

Ricky is survived by a niece: Deb Ballard of Columbus Grove; a nephew: Anthony "Tony" (Tiffany) Wannemacher of Continental; great nephew: Case Wannemacher; and great niece: Alexis Wannemacher.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother: Ron Wannemacher; and a nephew: Steve Ballard.

Ricky had attended Brookhill.  He liked to watch T.V., and he was always ready for a meal.  Ricky loved to smile, and always had a smile on his face.  He liked to give hugs, especially to his family, friends and caregivers.

Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2024, at St. Barbara Catholic Church, Cloverdale with Very Reverend George Mahas officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the mass at the church.
