Richard W. Wyant
LEIPSIC – Richard W. Wyant, 54, of Leipsic died Thursday, June 21, 2012 in Schererville, IN. He was born June 29, 1957 in Lima to the late Donald and Agnes (Wolke) Wyant. He is survived by 3 brothers: James (Deb) Wyant of Leipsic, Raymond Wyant of Leipsic, and Ronald Wyant of Ottoville; 6 sisters: Ruth Moore of Ottawa, Judy Kuhlman of Ottawa, Carol (Gene) Schroeder of Leipsic, Shirley (Gib) Kleman of Ottawa, Barbara (Dan) Ellerbrock of Ottawa, and Mary (Keith) Horton of Ottawa; 18 nieces and nephews; and 33 great-nieces and nephews. Richard was a godfather to many of them.
He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: David G. and William Wyant and a sister: Rose Wyant.
Richard was a brick layer-mason for Hovest Construction of Ottawa for 36 years. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Leipsic, the Leipsic Eagles and a social member of Leipsic VFW. He enjoyed working, being with his family and friends, fishing, and camping.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 25, 2012 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Fr. Mel Verhoff officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Leipsic. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
