Rita M. Agner

Ada -- Rita M. Agner, 92 of Ada, died 8:48 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2016 at her residence. She was born August 11, 1923 in Putnam County, to the late Elmer and Christine (Reddington) Nussbaum. On February 26, 1949 she married Wayne Agner who died July 8, 2010.

Rita is survived by four sons: Terrance (Taunda) Agner of Benton Ridge, Julius (Jane) Agner of Bluffton, Anthony Agner of Ada, Matthew (Barbara) Agner of Ada; three daughters: Yvonne (Donald) Erford of Tuscon, AZ, Mary (Michael) Hudson of Canton, Ruth (Harold) Loucks of Harrodsburg, KY; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; three siblings: Charles (Judy) Nussbaum of Columbus Grove, Kathryn Wischmeyer of Ottawa, and Ursula Alt of Bluffton. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Richard, John, Jerald; two sisters: Miriam Bruen, and SR. Dorothy Nussbaum.

Rita was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Ada and a member of the Ada Herb and Garden Club.. She had worked 15 years at the Triplett Corporation in Bluffton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
