Robert E.L. Agner

Ottawa - Robert E.L. Agner, 81, of Ottawa died 4:05 a.m. Friday, August 25, 2017 at St. Catherine's Manor, Findlay.  He was born September 4, 1935 in Greensburg Township to the late Harold and Lucille (Doriot) Agner.   On June 4, 1955, he married Mary E. Claybaugh who died in 1989.

Robert is survived by his children: Randy (Becky) Agner of Leipsic, Richard (Kristy) Agner of Lewistown, Montana, Roger (Paula) Agner of Ottawa, Jane (Mark) Garberson of Columbus Grove; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Harold Agner of Pandora and Russell (Beverly) Agner of Oakwood.  He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Allen Agner; a daughter, Robin Lynn Agner; and a brother, William E. Agner.

He retired from driving truck for Aetna Trucking and Wilson Trucking.  Robert was a member of Ottawa Eagles, Leipsic Fishing &  Hunting Association, and a social member of Ottawa's VFW.  He was a graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf High School.

A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Rev. Tim Hauenstein officiating.  Burial will follow in Harman Cemetery, Gilboa.  Visitation will be Monday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
