Robert W. Annesser
OTTAWA - Robert W. Annesser, 74, of Ottawa, "Bullett" to his family and friends, died at 7:40 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2017 at The Meadows of Ottawa. He was born March 9, 1942 in Ypsilanti, MI to the late James and Evelyn (Colwell) Annesser. On November 9, 1968 he married Delores Verhoff who survives in Ottawa.
Also surviving are two children, Ryan (Denise) Annesser and Dawn (Matt) Schmenk both of Ottawa and five grandchildren, Emily Annesser, Erica Annesser, Kennedy Schmenk, Sam Schmenk, and Eli Schmenk. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jim Annesser.
Bob was retired from Ford Motor Company in Lima. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, the Ottawa Eagles, Columbus Grove Eagles, and Lima Moose Lodge. He was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals, and the University of Michigan.
A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the departure for mass on Thursday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be a scripture service at 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Memorials may be made to Sts. Peter and Paul School or to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
