Robert J. Beach
Ottawa – Robert J. Beach, 74, of Ottawa, died 9:35 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2012 at the Meadows of Ottawa-Glandorf.  He was born April 9, 1938 in Continental to the late Joe and Audrey (Myers) Beach.  On September 4, 1964, he married Carol Wickiser       who survives in Ottawa.  Also surviving are a daughter, Sara Rieter of Tiffin; a son, Bruce Beach of Ottawa and 2 grandchildren.  Preceding him in death is a son, Doug Beach.
Bob worked at the Ford Motor Company in Lima for 39 years retiring in 1998 and also worked 43 years at Ottawa-Glandorf Schools in the sports department.  He was an Army veteran serving in Germany 1961 to 1963.  He was a member of Lima Baptist Temple and Ottawa American Legion..
A funeral service will begin 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Rev. Gary Hohman officiating.  Burial will follow in Harman Cemetery, Gilboa with military services by Ottawa American Legion.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, 2 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to service at the funeral home..
