ROBERT E. GARRETT
PANDORA – Robert E. Garrett, 64, of Pandora, died 8:00 a.m., Saturday, March 23, 2013 at his residence. He was born April 27, 1948 in Mexico, MO to the late Burton and Alma Garrett. On June 6, 1967, he married Judy Wilburn. She survives in Pandora.
Also surviving is a son, Chris (Susan) Garrett of Waterville; a daughter-in-law, Abby (Homer) Hendricks of West Unity; 5 grandchildren: Lauren Garrett, Jay Garrett, Devin Garrett, Logan Garrett and Aiden Garrett; a sister, Brenda David of Mexico, MO and a nephew, Brad David of Mexico, MO.
He was preceded in death by a son, James Garrett and a brother, Ronald Garrett.
Mr. Garrett worked for Kalmbach Feeds, Inc. for 14 years and was a swine farm manager. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of First Baptist Church of Defiance. He loved his grandchildren and was very involved in their activities. His family was his hobby.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, LEIPSIC with Rev. Tim Eding officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 pm Tuesday at Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Leipsic and one hour prior to the service Wednesday. Memorial donations may be made to the Whitaker Connell Children's Fund.
