GLANDORF - Robert "Bob" J. Molgaard, 59, of Glandorf, died 9:15 p.m. , Thursday, June 18, 2015 at his residence. He was born September 30, 1955 in Storm Lake, IA to the late Fredrick and Marjorie (Heikens) Molgaard. On August 9, 1974 he married Cherry Olson and she survives in Glandorf.
Also surviving are 4 children: Deanna (Jason) Averesch of Kalida, Joseph Molgaard of Ottawa, Angela Miehls of Kalida and Vicki (Robert) Niese of Miller City; 9 grandchildren: Jaydreanna Hoyt, Kyla Hoyt, Makenna Hoyt, Alysen Hoyt, Ella Kaufman, John Kaufman, Gabrielle Molgaard, Jared Niese and Ethan Niese; and 2 sisters: Diane Panfile of Mohwah, NJ and Deb (Jack) Anderson of Storm Lake, IA.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Dennis Molgaard; and twin sisters: Sandra and Susan Molgaard.
Bob was a communications maintainer for CSX Railroad. He attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf and was a member of the Glandorf Rod and Gun Club. He graduated from Western Iowa Tech.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
Memorial donations may be made to the Putnam County Cancer Assistance Program (C.A.P.).
