Robert A. McClure

OTTAWA – Robert A. McClure, 81, of Ottawa, passed away at 10:51 p.m., Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  He was born June 10, 1942, in Ottawa to the late Guy and Sophia (Wiechart) McClure.

He is survived by a sister, Sue Warnecke of Lima.

Robert was also preceded in death by two brothers: Charles and Donald McClure.

Robert installed elevators for a living and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a great fisherman.

Funeral service will begin 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 4, 2024 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, 916 East Main St., Ottawa. Burial will follow at Harman Cemetery, Gilboa with military rites by the Ottawa American Legion, VFW, AMVETS and DAV. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
