Robert P. Kaufman
CONTINENTAL - Robert P. Kaufman, 91, of Continental died 8:50 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013 at The Meadows of Kalida.  He was born September 25, 1921 in Waynesfield to the late Paul and Lucille Kaufman.  On November 26, 1942, he married Etta Geneva Stephens, who died August 11, 2007.
Robert formerly owned the Continental Telephone Company.  He was a member of Continental United Methodist Church; a life member of Continental American Legion; member of the Continental Game Club and 60 year member of the Continental Masonic Lodge.  He also was a former member and assistant chief of the Continental Fire Department; former member of the Shriners, and served on the Continental Water Board.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Pastor Charles Schmunk officiating.  Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery, Continental.  Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and a hour prior to service on Tuesday at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be at 8:00 p.m. Monday at funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Continental United Methodist  Church or Continental Fire Association.
