Robert D. Rayle
CONTINENTAL - Robert D. Rayle, 67, of Continental died at 4:15 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2013 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born June 24, 1946 in Dupont to the late William D. and Ruth A. (Dietrick) Rayle. On August 5, 1967, he married Elaine Black who survives in Continental.
Also surviving is a daughter: Stephanie Rayle of Continental; and 3 sisters: Bonnie Quigley and JoAnn (Fred) Scott both of Continental, and Connie (Mike) Mosier of Bryan. He was also preceded in death by a daughter: Tina Marie Rayle, 3 brothers: William C. Rayle I, Richard A. Rayle, and Ronnie L. Rayle I, and two brothers-in-law: Bob Quigley and Robert Hubert.
Robert retired in 1991 from Gene Wreede Drainage Tile. He loved gardening, flowers and all nature. He will be greatly missed by family and friends, especially his pets, Little One, Tan, and Shadow.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2013 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental. Visitation will be from 12 noon till 1:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
