Robert Dean Skelly

LIMA – Robert Dean Skelly, 85, of Lima, died 6:36 a.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Putnam Heritage Assisted Living, Ottawa. He was born August 27, 1936 in Lima to the late Robert and Louise (Hollenbacher) Skelly. On September 5, 1958, he married Linda Sue Miller and she preceded him in death on April 21, 2008.

Survivors include two daughters: Michelle (Doug) Moorman of Longview, TX and Salena (Brian) Sunderhaus of Huntsville; three grandchildren: Lex Gossard, Katlyn Bailey and Rachel Marzek; and four great-grandchildren: Emily Marzek, Olivia Bailey, Eleanor Bailey and Brody Gossard.

He was also preceded by eight brothers and sisters.

Robert retired from Lima Ford Engine Plant after many years. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lima. He loved to travel with his wife, brothers and sisters.
