Rodney S. "Scott" Miller

PAULDING – Rodney S. "Scott" Miller, 65, of Paulding, died at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at his residence. He was born December 24, 1958, in Lima to the late Richard and Marjorie (Amstutz) Miller.

Survivors include three children: Jessica (Brian) Siefker of Columbus Grove, Zachary (Sandra) Miller of Ottawa, and Jade Miller of Seattle, WA; six grandchildren: Isaac Siefker, Kyle (Virginia) Siefker, Jared Siefker, Calvin Miller, Carder Miller and Chase Miller; three great-grandchildren: Felix Siefker, Aella Siefker and Elara Siefker; and six siblings: Mark (Sheril) Miller of Ft. Wayne, Rhonda VanVliet of Sylva, NC, Kent (Jackie) Miller of Defiance, Wade Miller of Paulding, Teresa (Bill Christon) Hire and Jeffery (Sally) Miller both of Port St. Lucie, FL.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Miller.

Rodney retired from General Motors, Defiance and was a member of the Local UAW.

Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township. Burial will follow at Cascade Cemetery, Cloverdale. Visitation will be held from 11 – 1 p.m. on Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
