Rogelio "Roy" Anguiano

LIMA – Rogelio "Roy" Anguiano, 78 of Lima, passed away at 2:41 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  He was born April 11, 1945, in Crystal City, TX to the late Luis R. and Ramona (Sanchez) Anguiano Sr.

Roy is survived by two children: Rogelio (Kelli) Anguiano Jr. of Eugene, OR., and Ramona (Benjamin) Baylor of Grove City; five grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; two sisters: Lydia (Donnie) Young of Leipsic, and Celia (Frederico) Rocha of Los Fresnos, TX.; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by a daughter, April Ledezma; a grandson, Joshua Ledezma; a brother, Luis Anguiano Jr.; and five sisters, Gloria, Carmen, Virginia, Soyla and Lupe Anguiano.

Roy was a fan of Elvis Presley and he loved spending time with his family.

Funeral Mass will begin at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Fr. Randy Geisige officiating.  Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at St. Mary's Cemetery, Leipsic.  A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at the St. Mary's Parish Life Center, Leipsic.  Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.
