Roger D. Back

OAKWOOD – Roger D. Back, 78, of Oakwood, died at 2:00 a.m., Monday, February 13, 2023 at his residence. He was born June 2, 1944 in Hardburly, KY to the late Delmon and Avalon (Grindstaff) Back.  On June 18, 1966, he married Linda Kay Finnegan, who preceded him in death on October 15, 2020.

Roger is survived by three children: Delmon Back of Antwerp, Richard Back of Oakwood and LaCinda (Christopher) Conley of Oakwood; three grandchildren: Crimson Chaney, Katelyn Back and Braxton Conley; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Fred Back of Florida; one sister, Lorraine (Jim) Bremer of Florida; and one brother-in-law, Denny Smith of Wapakoneta.

He was also preceded in death by three sisters: Louise (Joe) Majors, Mary Murphy and Deloris Smith.

Roger retired in 1995 from General Motors, Defiance.  He loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandkids.

There will be no services held at this time.
