Roger E. Bradford

OAKWOOD – Roger E. Bradford, 76, of Oakwood, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023, at his residence.  He was born October 21, 1946, in Defiance to the late Earl and Thelma (Dimock) Bradford.  On June 8, 1968, he married Barbara J. Baldwin, she preceded him in death on August 30, 2018.

Roger is survived by two children: Jeff Bradford and Kris Bradford, both of Oakwood; two grandchildren: Brandi Yoh and Chase Bradford; four great-grandchildren: Xandyr Yoh, Lydianna Hyre, Oliver and Korra Havert; and a sister: Shirley Miller of Oakwood.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Paul Bradford, and a brother-in-law, Doug Miller.

Roger retired from General Motors in 2008.  He was a member of the Local UAW 211. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.  Roger enjoyed farming, cutting wood, and clearing the land.  He loved his family.

No services will be held at this time.  Arrangements are under the direction of HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood.
