Roger S. Wagner, Sr.

Fayette -- Roger S. Wagner, Sr., 62, of Fayette and formerly of Continental died 3:05 p.m. Friday, January 1, 2016 at the Bryan Hospital.  He was born July 21, 1953 in Defiance to the late George H. and Nina (Burgett) Wagner.  On November 17, 1997 he married Judy Keesler, who survives in Fayette.

Roger is survived by his children:  Roger (Heather) Wagner, Jr. of Toledo and Rebecca Hand of Edgerton; 2 step-daughters:   Karen Risner of Fayette and Deb Pursel of Kentucky; a step-son:  Danny Risner of Fayette; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a sister:  Vicki (David) Tingler of Continental; and a sister-in-law:  Vivian Wagner of Fostoria.  He is preceded in death by a brother:  David Wagner.

Roger worked for Matsu Corporation, Edgerton, OH.

The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Pastor Alan Ray Newsome officiating.  Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery, Continental.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and again for 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
