Ronald "Ron" Averesch

KALIDA - Ronald "Ron" Averesch, 59, of Kalida died at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2017 at his residence. He was born August 30, 1957 in Lima to Raymond H. and Dorothea M. (Schroeder) Averesch. His father survives in Kalida, his mother is deceased. He was married to Pamela Holland and they are divorced.

Ron is survived by two children, Charlie (Kristhena Rowe) Averesch and Dawn Averesch both of Continental, five grandchildren, Cassandra Marie Averesch, Joelynn Averesch, Gracee Averesch, Damian Lawhorn, and Braiden Lawhorn; two brothers, Norman (Ann Ellerbrock) Averesch of Miller City and Mike (Brenda) Averesch of Ottawa; and three sisters, Janet (Tim) Hermiller of Ottawa, Jean (Ron) Siefker of Glandorf, and Julie Wilkins of Columbus Grove.

Ron worked for Remlinger Manufacturing, Kalida. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Kalida He was an avid coon hunter and belonged to Brougham Coon Hunters Association and the NRA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Kalida with Fr. Mark Hoying officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME,  Ottawa. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
