Ronald D. Burkholder VENICE, FL (formerly of Lima, OH) – Ronald D. Burkholder, 90, of Venice, FL, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025. He was born December 24, 1934, in Lima, OH to the late Linwood "Dutch" and Nellie Burkholder. On October 25, 1953, he married Norma J. Keller, who preceded him in death on November 12, 2013. He is survived by three children: Michael (Kay) Burkholder of Ottawa, Terry (Diane) Burkholder of Venice, FL and Todd (Annette) Burkholder of Lima; five grandchildren: Jodi (Kyle) Gallmeier, Matthew Burkholder, Brandon Burkholder, Dylan (Katie McClure) Burkholder and Tyler Burkholder; a brother-in-law, Robert (Jo) Keller of Lima; and two sisters-in-law: Marlene (Brian) Karrick and Beverly (Rick Patterson) Keller Bradford, both of Lima. Ronald retired from Ford Motor Company in Lima after 40 years of service. He was very involved in the UAW Local 1219, Lima, previously serving as financial secretary and on various committees. He was also involved in the Phi Beta Psi Sorority with his wife raising money for cancer research. He served on the board of directors at the Venice Isles Estates where they resided in Florida.
