Ronald Ellerbrock

OTTAWA - Ronald Ellerbrock, 85, of Ottawa passed peacefully on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at The Meadows of Ottawa.

He was born on February 7, 1940, in Ottawa to the late Sylvester and Marie (Recker) Ellerbrock. On January 18, 1964, he married Linda (Kroeger) who survives in Ottawa.

He was a lifelong member of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish in Ottawa.

He is survived by his wife Linda, sons: Greg (Deb) Ellerbrock, Scott (Julie) Ellerbrock, Mike (Michelle) Ellerbrock, and Dan (Jenny) Ellerbrock, all of Ottawa, grandchildren: Erica (Luke) Karhoff, Lee (Nicole) Ellerbrock, Cory (Emily) Ellerbrock, Tony (Jenna) Ellerbrock, Andy (Jessica) Ellerbrock, Brent Ellerbrock, Jacob (Michelle) Ellerbrock, Joel (Emily) Ellerbrock, Claire Ellerbrock, Sarah Ellerbrock, Alex Ellerbrock and Sami Ellerbrock, and great-grandchildren: James and Jack Karhoff, Emma, Eliza, Ivy, Archie, Olivia, Audrey, Hayes, Wyatt, and Austin Ellerbrock, as well as 2 on the way, siblings: Arlene (Bill) Schroeder, Darlene Schroeder, Jim (Bonnie Debold) Ellerbrock, Marilyn (Tom) Stechschulte, Denny (Pat) Ellerbrock, Kevin (Cheryl) Ellerbrock, Cheri (Tony) Kuhlman, and Tim Ellerbrock, brother-in-law: Bob Kissell, and sister-in-law: Ruthann Kroeger.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Marvin Ellerbrock, sister: Shirley Kissell, brothers-in-law: Kenny Schroeder and Gary Kroeger, and sister-in-law: Aggie Ellerbrock.

Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, with Fr. Scott Kramer officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 2 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service starting at 7:30 p.m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa and again on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
