Ronald H. Kistler
LIBERTY CENTER – Ronald H. Kistler, 70, of Liberty Center, formerly of Ottawa, died Saturday, July 20, 2024 in McClure, Ohio. He was born July 27, 1953, in Lima to the late Herbert and Irene (Smith) Kistler. On June 25, 2005, he married Penny Walker, who survives in Liberty Center.
Other survivors include his daughter: Sarah (Adam) Klausing of Ottawa; two stepchildren: Jeremy (Emily) Sheets of New Bavaria, Jody (JR) McCowan of Morenci, MI; a son-in-law, Gale Wiseman of Findlay; three grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; four siblings: Carl (Kathy) Kistler, Donna (Bob) Comer of Findlay, Cindy (Paul) Guthrie of Dayton and Bill (Connie) Kistler of Cloverdale; and his beloved dog, Zoe.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shari Wiseman; and two brothers: Larry and Bob Kistler.
Ronald retired as an electrician. He was a member and former president of IBEW Local #8 Rossford Union Hall. He was also a member of the Eagles, Napoleon and America Legion, McClure. He enjoyed boating and camping at the Maumee River, and spending time with friends and family.
A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
