Ronald L. Korte

Kalida - Ronald L. Korte, 71, of Kalida died 9:49 a.m., Friday, December 2, 2016 at his residence.  He was born June 1, 1945 in Lima to the late Leo R. and Marie B. (Langhals) Korte.  On January 20, 1968, he married Jane L. Kottenbrock who survives in Kalida.

Ron was also survived by two children: Angela Korte Binkley of Bowling Green and Russell  Lee Korte of Findlay and 5 grandchildren:  Meghan Amelia Korte, Alyssa Jane Binkley, Kennedy Marie Korte and twins, Taylor Nicole and Carter Andrew Korte.  He also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Patricia Glancy and Genie Korte; and his twin brother:  Donnie Korte.

Ron retired after 34 1/2 years from the Ford Motor Company and worked part-time for K&L Ready Mix.  He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Kalida; Kalida Fish & Game Club and a life Veteran of the VFW and UAW #1219.  Ron was a veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam.

The visitation for Ron will be Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township.  There will be no funeral service or burial.
