RONALD H. MCKIBBEN

CONTINENTAL-Ronald H. McKibben, 78, of Continental, died 11:35 p.m., Friday, August 22, 2014 at Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord, MI. He was born March 4, 1936 in North Creek, OH to the late Harvey and Nellie (Green) McKibben. On June 5, 1957 he married Marlene A. Wenzinger who died October 29, 2005.
Ronald is survived by a son: Steven (Janis) McKibben of Continental; three grandchildren: Kristy (Al) Nartker of Ottawa, Lindsey (Dusty) Pester of Ottawa, Travis McKibben of Columbus; 5 great-grandchildren: Jonathon Pester, Jacob Pester, Claire Pester, Isabelle Nartker, Elijah Nartker; two brothers: Howard (Lillian) McKibben of Cloverdale, and Don (Jean) McKibben of Continental. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Shelly Ann McKibben; a son: Michael Joseph McKibben; and an infant sister: Ruth Elizabeth McKibben.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Bavaria, the National Rifle Association, and an avid fisherman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Bavaria with Fr. Nick Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, North Creek. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa. Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
