Ronald Paul Siebeneck
KALIDA – Ronald Paul Siebeneck, 61, of Kalida died at 7:30 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2012 at his residence. He was born November 21, 1950 in Lima to the late Paul and Marcile (Dackin) Siebeneck. On November 4, 1978 he married Jane Gerschutz who survives in Kalida.
Also surviving is a son: Jared Siebeneck of Kalida; and 3 sisters: Pat (Brad) Unverferth and Joyce (Bob) Buss both of Kalida, and Nancy (Andrew) Anyanonu of Grosse Isle, MI.
Ron retired after 20 years as an insurance agent and had previously worked at General Motors in Defiance. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida and the Archaeology Society of Ohio, Mowkon Chapter. He was an Indian relic enthusiast who loved hunting for arrowheads, fishing, hunting, and was good with his bow and arrow.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida with Fr. Mark Hoying officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2012 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township (on the corner of St. Rts. 224 & 634) where there will be a scripture service at 3 p.m. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
