Ronald L. Wentz

TIFFIN - Ronald L. Wentz, 55, of Tiffin died at 11:56 a.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at his residence. He was born February 15, 1963 in Lima to Arthur and Barbara (Nemire) Wentz. His father is deceased, his mother survives in Leipsic. On August 8, 1998 he married Connie Leers, who survives in Tiffin.

Also surviving are two children, Nicholas (Kendra) Wentz of Gilboa and Brianne Culver of Upper Sandusky; four step-children, Jennifer (Jeremy) Carter of Fremont, Tabetha (Ronnie) Yates of Seaside, OR, Cory Corbin and Jason Mathis, both of Clyde; six grandchildren and one on-the-way; six step grandchildren; two brothers, Rick Wentz of Leipsic and Rob Wentz of Georgia; a sister, Connie (Mark) Buehrer of Leipsic; and a sister-in-law, Karen Wentz of Findlay. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Bradley Wentz; a brother, Randy Wentz; and a step grandson, Dawson Chapman.

Ron worked construction for Peterson, Tuttle and Kirk Brothers. He enjoyed fishing and hunting a variety of animals with his son and brothers.  Ron also enjoyed working outdoors and spending time with his grandson, Diesel.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Chaplain Joe Hartman officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
