Rose M. Meyer
KALIDA - Rose M. Meyer, 63, of Kalida, died at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Bridge Hospice, Findlay surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 17, 1950 in Lima to the late Clarence and Mary (Greene) Bowers. On December 21, 1968 she married Camillus E. Meyer who died May 26, 1994.
She is survived by 2 sons: Terry (Tisha) Meyer of Columbus Grove and Troy (Lajean) Meyer of Leipsic; 2 grandchildren: Brandon Meyer and Meggan Meyer; a brother: Gary (Marilyn) Bowers of Saegertown, PA; a sister: Rita (Paul) Jones of Findlay; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She was also preceded in death by a sister: Mary Amburgey, and 2 brothers: Lynn and Carl Bowers.
Rose was a graduate of Columbus Grove High School and retired after 34 years from Superior Metals and American Trim in Lima. She enjoyed reading, playing bingo, and going to flea markets.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2013 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Rev. Dennis Coates officiating. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Kalida. Visitation will be from 12 noon until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Putnam County Humane Society and the American Cancer Society.
