MILLER CITY – Rose A. Kleman, 60, of Miller City passed away at 8:19 a.m., Monday, December 19, 2022 at the Meadows of Kalida. She was born February 19, 1962, in Lima to the late Donald and Luella (Ellerbrock) Dickman. On June 4, 1983, she married Garry Kleman, who survives in Miller City.
Other survivors include four siblings: Jerry (Connie) Dickman of Columbus Grove, Dave (Diane) Dickman of Miller City, Karen Hiser of Findlay and Linda (John) Leiendecker of McComb; a sister-in-law, Karen Dickman of Glandorf; and 11 nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ron Dickman; a brother-in-law, Dan Hiser; one niece and one nephew.
Rose worked at Home Helpers, where she loved working with the elderly. She had also worked for Consolidated Biscuit, McComb. Rose was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City, where she was a CCD teacher, eucharistic minister, lector, member of the church welcome group and the Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of Miller City Sportsman Club and Glandorf Rod and Gun Campground. Rose was a 4-H Advisor and loved helping at the Putnam County Fair. She also enjoyed being a volunteer at the school, reading to students.
Funeral Mass will begin 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 22, 2022 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Miller City with Fr. Scott Perry officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be 2 – 8 p.m., Wednesday with a scripture service beginning at 1:45 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
