OTTAWA – Roxann R. Miller, 58, of Ottawa, died at 6:20 a.m. on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Hospital, Lima. She was born September 5, 1962 in Celina to Harry Jr. and the late Norma Jeane (Heyne) Eckrote. Her father survives in Berne, Indiana. On July 3, 1993, she married Randy Miller. He survives in Ottawa. Roxann is also survived by her mother-in-law, Monica Miller of Ottoville.
Roxann is survived by a sister and brother: Dixie (Le) Hook and Mike (Mary) Eckrote, both of Decatur, IN; four step-sisters: Karen Kaehr of Fort Wayne, IN, Kris (Lyle) Haines and Beth Lehman of Berne, IN, Kathy (Henry) Pearson of Dallas, TX; sisters-in-law: Lisa (Kevin) Lindeman, Elaine (Jeff) Schimmoeller, both of Ottoville; brothers-in-law: Steve (Mary) Koester, Dave (Mary) Koester, Terry (Shirley) Miller, Joe (Tina) Koester, Dean (Melanie) Koester, Chuck (Jodi) Koester, Paul Koester, Lee Miller, all of Ottoville, Dale (Lisa) Koester of Sunbury, Ron Miller of Powell, Keith (Melissa) Miller of St. Mary's, Troy Landin of Lima.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law: Donald Miller; a sister-in-law: Carla Landin; and a brother-in-law: Scott Kaehr.
Roxanne was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She worked for General Dynamics in Lima for 20 years. She enjoyed competing in scrabble tournaments. She had a great love for animals and took in many rescue animals. Roxann and her husband were foster parents for a short time as well.
Funeral mass will be 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Father Scott Kramer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Ottoville. Visitation will be Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Mass will be live-streamed through the church's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/ottawasppp
Due to regulations regarding COVID-19 and social distancing guidelines, masks are required upon entering the church.
