Ruby J. Hahn
CONTINENTAL – Ruby J. Hahn, 91, of Continental, died at 9:04 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  She was born January 17, 1921 in Harbor Springs, MI to the late Fred and Rose (Rhodabeck) Holiday. On October 5, 1940 she married Wilbur Hahn and he died February 3, 1989.  Surviving is a daughter: Mary (Ed) Louiselle of Continental; 3 grandchildren: Kelly Louiselle, Kim (Mike) Mitchell and Gary (Kerri) Louiselle; 3 great-grandchildren: Lesley (Matt) Miller, Nicholas Louiselle and Rex Louiselle.  She was preceded in death also by a son: Robert Hahn and a sister: Mary Jane Holiday.
Ruby and her husband moved to Ohio from Michigan in 1976 where Ruby owned and operated Hahn Group Home in Continental for 25 years.  She attended Christ United Methodist Church in Continental.  She was an avid genealogist and worked on many family histories. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching her grandsons play baseball.
A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental with Pastor Allyssa Smithers officiating.  Burial will follow at a later date in Riverside Cemetery, Defiance.  Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Friday and one hour prior to service Saturday at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Continental Library or Circle of Friends Co-op parish food pantry, Continental.
