Ruth C. Gerdeman
OTTAWA - Ruth C. Gerdeman, 87, of Ottawa, died 11:10 p.m., Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora. She was born September 24, 1926, in Glandorf, to the late Frank and Regina (Inkrott) Gerdeman.
She is survived by 22 nieces and nephews; one brother: Joe (Ruth) Gerdeman of Ottawa; a brother-in-law: John Keeterle of New Bavaria; a sister-in-law: Rosie Gerdeman of Ottawa; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Linus Gerdeman and sisters, Agnes Scheckelhoff and Edna Keeterle.
Ruth was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf and its Altar Rosary Society. She retired from Philips GTE, formerly of Ottawa and was a member of the Philips Quarter Century Club.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 5, 2014 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.
