Ruth A. Reynolds, 91, of Ottawa died at 1:15 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Hilty Memorial Home in Pandora. She was born September 10, 1923 in Findlay to the late Edson and Nettie (Peters) Hartman. On January 20, 1943 she married Evan Reynolds who preceded her in death.
She is survived by sons: Evan (Judy) Reynolds of Rochester Hill, MI and David (Michelle) Reynolds of Sterling Heights; a daughter: Susan (Carl) Gabel of Worthington; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters: Elsie (Bob) Klepper of Tiffin and Sara (Dick) Gore of Atlanta, GA; and two sisters-in-law: Adabelle (Kenneth) Hartman of Findlay; and June (Jim) Guldan of Woodville, MN.
Mrs. Reynolds was a housewife and retired head cook for the P-G school district. She was a member of the Gilboa United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and a 4-H leader.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m.Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Gilboa United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Harman Cemetery, Gilboa. There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be made to the Gilboa United Methodist Church or to the Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora.
