LEIPSIC – Ruth A. Frankart, 91, of Leipsic, passed peacefully at 8:50 a.m., Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at The Meadows of Leipsic. She was born April 29, 1934, in Paulding County to the late John M. and Ada E. (Buchman) Kwascigroh. On August 1, 1953, she married Larry R. Frankart, Sr. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulding County. He preceded her in death on October 22, 2007.
Ruth is survived by four children: Larry R. (Melinda) Frankart, Jr. of Goldsboro, NC, Helen (Armando) Carrera, Thomas (Nancy) Frankart and Michael (Christi) Frankart, all of Leipsic; 11 grandchildren: Brandon Frankart, Dylan Frankart, Chrissy (Bob) Harris, Genie (Troy) Reynolds, Gabriel (Beth) Carrera, Chasity (Ray Nunez) Carrera, Andrew (Connie) Frankart, Aaron (Mollie) Frankart, Michael Frankart, Jr., Ben (Jaime) Frankart and Nick (Kelsey) Frankart; 24 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Cale Frankart; a sister, Anna Blanchard; and two brothers: Frank and Johnny Kwascigroh.
Ruth formerly worked in the cafeteria at Rusco in Pandora. She had also worked for 21 years at Tem-Cole Radish in McClure. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia. She enjoyed playing cards, boating and camping with friends and family. Above all, Ruth loved her children, especially her grands and greats.
Funeral Mass will begin 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Fr. Randy Giesige officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday with a C. L. of C. rosary service beginning at 7:30 p.m. at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic. An additional visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic or a charity of the donor's choice.
