Sandra "Sandy" Kay McFarland
Glandorf - Sandra "Sandy" Kay McFarland, 58, of Glandorf died 7:00 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2015 at her residence. She was born November 27, 1956 in Lima to the late Walter and Dolores (Wischmeyer) Recker. On August 3, 1996, she married Kevin McFarland who survives in Glandorf.
Sandy is also survived by 3 sisters: Carol (Dan) Gerker of Ottoville, Jo (Roger) Buss of Kalida and Linda (Rick) Quinn of Glandorf; 2 brothers: Gary Recker and Jerry (Amy) Recker all of Glandorf; 23 nieces and nephews and 15 great-nieces and nephews.
Sandy was a bartender and waitress at the Bombshelter. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf and Glandorf's 300 Club. She was a fan of Nascar and the Detroit Tigers and loved her dog, Dexter.
A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Tim McFarland and Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
