SANDRA L. MOWERY

OAKWOOD – Sandra L. Mowery, 70, of Oakwood died 3:05 p.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Twin Rivers Center in Defiance.  She was born April 26, 1946, in Defiance to the late Glen Sr. and Margaret (Smith) Schilt.  On April 4, 1964, she married Mickey Mowery and he died October 14, 2013.

Survivors include two children: Stephanie Cogswell of Oakwood and Robert (Juanita) Mowery of Continental; four grandchildren: Brandi (Gary) Keller, Travis Cogswell, Kasandra Cogswell, Brittany (Andrew) Rheinheimer; three great-grandchildren: Jackson, Makenna and Mickinley Keller; and six brothers and sisters: Arthur (Jeri) Miller of Defiance, Betty Clark of MI, Glenda (Richard) Kohorst of Oakwood, Linda Shelton of Ottawa, Bonnie (Richard) Adkins of Oakwood and Glen (Mary) Schilt, Jr. of Defiance.

She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law: Frank Cogswell and a sister: Sharon Merritte.

A Memorial Service will begin at 12:00 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2016 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood with Pastor Tim Tracy officiating.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service.  Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
