Shane Alan Boecker

CLOVERDALE – Shane Alan Boecker, 48, went to his heavenly home on Monday, January 2, 2023, at his residence.  He was born on August 23, 1974, in Lima, to Sandy (McDougle) Preston and George A. Boecker.

He leaves behind a daughter: Kristy Lynn Boecker of Findlay; his mother and stepfather: Sandy and Doug Preston of Grover Hill; his father and stepmother: George and Terri Boecker of Cloverdale; a sister: Lea and Jacob Wathen of Defiance; a brother: George Boecker Jr. of Cloverdale; a niece: Lauren Wathen; and two nephews: Trent Wathen and Jedidiah Boecker.

Shane loved his family and doing mechanics. He attended Apollo for electrical and became a Millwright. He worked at Kennedy Kits, Van Wert.  Shane enjoyed going with his uncle, Karl Boecker, to collect golf balls out of creeks and ponds at golf courses. He also enjoyed when his uncle Alvin would pick him up from the nursing home on Saturdays to go out to eat.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental.
