Sharon L. Bibler

CONTINENTAL – Sharon L. Bibler, 86, of Continental, passed away at 5:15 p.m., Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima. She was born September 29, 1939, in Cloverdale to the late Charles and Juanita (Ladd) Sharp. On September 18, 1960, she married Charles Bibler, who survives in Continental.

Other survivors include three children: Ty (Lynette Ross) Bibler of Convoy, Michan (Gary) Smith of Continental and Todd (Jamie) Bibler of Payson, UT; six grandchildren: Zack Bibler, Stacie Barnes, Karissa Ferrell, Dustin Ferrell, Garit Bibler and Hannah (Hagen) Bettis; two brothers: Frank (Jane) Sharp of Oakwood and Charles Sharp of Grover Hill; and a sister-in-law, Sheila Sharp of Cloverdale.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two siblings: John “Bill” Sharp and Gela (Harold) Schuller; and a sister-in-law, Wendy Sharp.

Sharon retired in 1999 from TDS, where she worked as a secretary. She was a member of Continental United Methodist Church. Sharon loved spending time with her family and enjoyed crocheting, baking and cooking.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 21, 2026, at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Pastor Monica Kleman officiating. Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery, Continental. Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday and 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
