Shelly Bennett

Leipsic - Shelly Bennett, 48, of West Leipsic died 1:09 a.m. Sunday, December 20, 2015.  She was born December 18, 1967 in Leipsic to John P. and the late Connie (Reed) Fackler. Her father and Connie (Cortez) Fackler survive in Deshler.  On September 8, 1996, she married Charles Bennett, who died November 8, 2013.

She is survived by her 2 brothers:  Jeremy (Cassandra) Fackler of Leipsic and Tony (Jessica) Fackler of Cridersville; a sister:  Ann Miranda of Findlay; step-brother:  Eric DeLaCerda of Lima; 2 Aunts:  Sharon (Bob) Butler and Debra (Mark) Schmiedebusch, both of Ottawa; special nephew:  Jessie Miranda, Jr. of Leipsic; and she loved her dog: Sadie.

Shelly was a 1986 graduate of Leipsic High School. She was a member of the UAW.  Shelly enjoyed playing bingo, NASCAR, and was a Michigan and Cowboys fan.  She attended Leipsic United Methodist Church.

The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Pastor Steve Weatherly officiating.  Burial will follow in Center Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday for one hour prior to the service at Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Leipsic.
