Sherry R. Adams

OAKWOOD – Sherry R. Adams, 81, of Oakwood, died at 6:47 a.m. on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Brookview Healthcare Center, Defiance.  She was born March 22, 1940 in Defiance to the late Burdette and Joyce (Lindeman) Miller.  On June 6, 1963 she married Stanley Adams, he preceded her in death on October 17, 2019.

Sherry is survived by two daughters: Staci Adams and Michelle Suman, both of Defiance; five grandchildren: Josh, Jacob, Jessica, Dalton and Dallas; six great-grandchildren: Damon, Kayla, Tyler, Vienna, Decker and Kennedy; and a sister:  Cathie Hoffman of Defiance.

She is also preceded in death by two sisters: Connie Mazur and Marsha Shook.

Sherry was a homemaker. She attended Twin Oaks United Methodist Church in Oakwood.

Private services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood.
